The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) Secretariat earlier today had the pleasure of receiving a delegation from the Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation, which paid a courtesy call at the Secretariat.
The delegation was received by the CCZ General Secretary, Fr. James Phiri, alongside the CCZ Head of Programs, Mr. George Chibwana, and the Head of Finance and Administration, Mr. Robert Banda. The visiting delegation from the Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation was led by the Executive Director, Reverend Professor Hoyce Mbowe.
During the meeting, the two institutions reflected on the strategic work they have been undertaking over time and discussed opportunities for strengthening collaboration moving forward. The engagement also focused on identifying key strategic areas of cooperation and setting the direction for joint initiatives in the year ahead.
Both parties emphasized the importance of continued partnership in advancing shared goals aimed at supporting communities, promoting social development, and enhancing the well-being of citizens.
The meeting reaffirmed the strong relationship between CCZ and the Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation and highlighted the importance of collaboration among faith-based institutions in addressing societal challenges.
CCZ remains committed to fostering partnerships and collaborative efforts with like-minded organizations in order to contribute meaningfully to building stronger and more resilient communities.
