Newly elected members of the LCC leadership have pledged to work together and move the council forward following a period of absence by the members in active involvement in CCZ activities.
LCC Representative Jethro Munamadyanka has described the development as a positive move to allow for Christian involvement in the development of the district through partnerships with various stakeholders.
During the first executive meeting for the newly elected leadership Mr Munamadyanka during the devotion under the theme “What Kind of A Leader Does God Want” from the book of exodus 18:13-24 challenged the leaders to fear God.
He explained that qualities of a Godly leader include being trustworthy in everything they do, hate for bribes/corruption, teaching others to do the work of God and being selfless.
The Kasama LCC has since drawn a calendar of events and activities for the year 2015.
