Church of Christ Medical Mission targets 15000

The Church of Christ has targeted to reach over 15 000 people to access free medical service during the annual Namuyanga Zambia Medical Mission in Southern province.

Church of Christ Education Secretary Elder Simeon Siachobe in an interview explained that about 89 medical personal from the United States of America working in partnership with the Church of Christ will be traveling to Zambia for the mission which will be conducted in Kalomo and Choma districts to offer free medical services in communities which do not have medical facilities.

Elder Siachobe said the targeted communities have been identified as areas where people are affected by various diseases which can be treated hence the idea of establishing medical camps under the mission for several days.

“the medical personnel that are taking part in the mission are specialized in various medical fields and have been involved in this mission for over the years,” he said.
