CCZ Part of 2015 World Aids Day Featured

The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) will be part of the 2015 World AIDS Day celebrations on December 1, an annual event which began in 1988 aimed at raising awareness of the disease and remembering those who died of the disease and those living positively.

The theme for this year’s World Aids Day is “Zambia’s Future, Getting to Zero New HIV Infections”.

CCZ representative will take part in the organized march from Matero Boys Secondary School to Matero Stadium where various activities have been lined up to mark the day.

The march will be preceded by a candle-light memorial service to be attended by people from various faiths on 30th November 2015 at St John’s United Church in Zambia (UCZ) Mtendere Congregation after a march from Vera Chiluba School in Lusaka at 15:00 Hours.
