This is according to Mr. Bernard Mulobeka, a representative from Audico Chartered Accountants of Zambia. According to Mr. Mulobeka, this means that the financial accounts of CCZ had no irregularities and that therefore the organisation was in right standing according to international accounting standards.
And the organisation has successfully implemented majority of the programmes as mandated by the 2012 General Conference. This was revealed in the three reports that were presented by the CCZ President, CCZ General Secretary and Head of Programmes.
The trio presented the three (3) year reports to the delegates, explaining what the Council was involved in throughout the country.
“I believe it is appropriate to the General Conference that our Secretariat performed to our expectation. They executed their various roles with professionalism and zeal to achieve their various stated objectives.” Said Rev. Alfred Kalembo as he presented the Presidents’ report.
And the General Secretary Rev. Dr. Suzanne Matale paid tribute to the member churches, affiliates and funding organisations for their continued support to the organisation adding that work would not have been possible without their commitment and support.
And the Head of Programmes Mr. Abraham Chikasa highlighted a number of achievements that had been recorded in the last three years among them, dialogue with policy makers, traditional leaders as well as increasing the voice on fair taxation in the country.
