PROGRAMMES
EMERGENCY AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
The CCZ Emergency and Development office is responsible for the strategic positioning of the organisation to be able to respond to Emergency and Development issues in Zambia. The focus for this office is Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, food security, water and sanitation.
NATIONAL YOUTH OFFICE
Addressing the challenges of youth employment and empowerment is CCZ’s top priority in all its programmes. The National youth office is responsible for coordinating member churches youth participation in national events such as Youth Day or Independence celebrations. The program also coordinates youth sensitization and information dissemination on issues related to Gender, Drug Abuse, HIV/AIDS prevention and youth participation in governance.
EDUCATION OFFICE
Education is fundamental to human development and is linked to broad-based economic growth and democratic governance. Research has demonstrated that education raises individual income and, in an enabling environment, can contribute significantly to economic growth.
CCZ has contributed to national development in the education sector through two teacher training colleges and the member churches schools. The two colleges namely David Livingstone College of Education and Malcolm Moffat College of Education offer certificate, Diploma and Degree courses in Education.

SOCIAL & ECONOMIC JUSTICE OFFICE
Responsible for enhancing the capacity of member churches to respond to social and economic justice issues that affect the nation, as well as establishing structures at district level through which CCZ members will respond to Social and Economic justice issues. The program also coordinates and facilitates CCZ members’ participation in national processes such as Constitution, Budget, Electoral and other national processes.
THEOLOGY & ECUMENICAL ENGAGEMENT
Responsible for encouraging ecumenical fellowship among member churches. The desk also provides ecumenical worship and counselling services at the University of Zambia and the surrounding community. In addition, the desk is involved in Prison Ministry, Rural Mission and ministering to the “Differently Abled” as well as for the promotion of specialised ministry
GENDER AND HEALTH
Responsible for mainstreaming Gender activities and HIV/AIDS prevention into all CCZ programming. The program further facilitates and organises Gender and Health training for member churches and associate organizations, as well as facilitating for sensitization of women, men and youths on the effects of HIV/AIDS and Gender injustice on national development.
COMMUNICATIONS
Responsible for establishing linkages with electronic and print media to enhance media coverage for CCZ events, responding to press queries in collaboration with the General Secretary as well as preparing Press Statement/Releases that help the CCZ proactively respond to prevailing and emerging issues in the country. The program is also responsible for producing information, education and communication materials and disseminates to members and partners.
The aim of the Communications and Documentation Office is to manage and coordinate communication activities of CCZ which include facilitating communication between the secretariat and member churches, affiliate organizations, partners and the general public in order to enhance the organisation’s visibility
