Malcolm Moffat College of Education in Serenje has procured a Mitsubishi Fuso truck at a cost of K200,000.
The truck was procured to ease transport challenges which the college has been facing.
The college has also acquired a piece of farm land which is expected to boost agricultural production alongside the current production unit.
Education and Emergency Programmes officer George Chibwana described the purchase of the truck as a major achievement as it will ease the transport challenges at the college.
Mr Chibwana said the truck will be used to ferry vegetable produce from the production unit of the college for supplying to the prison and hospitals.
